Tried the Original Cheese Steak, added mushrooms. Full of flavor, has a very slight bit of heat, which enhances the taste. Onion Rings and Fries are excellent also. And Sprecher Rootbeer to round it all out.
Overall this place is awesome. The food and workers were great. The only reason I dinged a star on the atmosphere rating is because, as the name says, there is very limited space to dine in. For me that's not an issue, but it could be to some.
The owner is fantastic. This is the best place around for Chicago style hot dogs and Italian beef. Their fries and chicken tenders are delicious too.
This was my first time here AB’s the owner was so sweet welcoming and helpful. The place is clean and this was by far one of the best phillys I’ve ever had. Not to mention one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had I can’t believe I didn’t know about this place sooner.
Here visiting with friends from Toronto, Canada. Staying in a place around the corner. Went for a quick bite, stayed for a delicious meal. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely will be back while we are here, 100% recommend.
This past May marked the very first time trying this place and was a pleasant first experience. Always looking for a local favorite to support and a great find indeed. Now, I'm drawing a blank but I think this is the venue I stumbled onto on Google Maps that's only open like 6 months out of the year as I remember. Either way great food at still reasonable prices in a cozy setting, only 1 table inside which I'm guessing where the name comes from but outdoor seating is available as well. Some items on the menu may make this joint sound just like another typical Chicago grill but definitely not, Baba's is a unique experience that stands out on it's own. Great cheesesteaks & grub and I wish for continued success and prosperity for the owner(s).
I drive by here at least twice a week but haven't stopped until today. It was a sunny, pleasant day and it was time. I ordered and received the best smash burger I've ever had and really good onion rings. The service was pleasant, the atmosphere perfect and the price was right. Well worth the stop. I'll be back.
Haven't been in years and I'm appalled at myself foe forgetting about this little gem in town. Husband's loves the burgers. I'm obsessed with the hot beef and chicago dog! Friendly staff, welcoming and always hot and sooooo good!
